Worship Services - Sundays at 11 AM
CHURCH BACKGROUND
Northwest Community Church is a non-denominational church with ties to the Church of God in Anderson, IN and the local Chesapeake, Delaware, and Potomac District (CDP) of the Church of God. The church opened on October 15, 2006, but was birthed out of the former National Memorial Church of God. National Memorial Church was one of the 25 national churches in Washington, DC. Declining membership and changing demographics caused the church to take the bold step of closing its doors and allowing a new church to be planted in its place.
OUR FOCUS
Northwest Community Church is defined by its external focus. The compass in our name reminds us that it is our mission to point the world to Christ one heart at a time. We believe our mission can be summed up in four words - reaching, growing, loving, and worshipping. In fact this whole website is built around those four themes.
